How to Track Who is Viewing You on Facebook

How to Track Who is Viewing You on Facebook

No App or Setting to Track Facebook Viewers

You might be curious regarding who recently visited or viewed your Facebook profile. Unfortunately, Facebook has released a statement saying there is absolutely no way that any user can track down who viewed their Facebook page. If there are certain third-party applications claiming that they can track down your top Facebook viewers, then it is definitely a scam. The setting on your Facebook does not include any options to find out who visits your profile. However, there are still ways for you to find out if someone frequently looks at your Facebook page.

Ranking of Friends in Your Chat Bar and Friends List :

You may have noticed that the people you usually communicate with in Facebook are on the top of your chat list. The people who are at the bottom of the chat list are those that you barely talk to. This principle also applies with your friends list. The people you constantly see in your friends list and chat list are the ones who comment on your posts and chat with you. In other words, you constantly interact with these people. By seeing which of your friends constantly appear on the top of your list, this means that they may be the ones who constantly visit your profile.

Event Invites

This is another way for you to find out if someone has visited your profile page. When you invite some people to an event, they have the option to reply with accept invitation or reject invitation. You can check who visited your profile the most by looking at the top people who are on the list of each category.

Friend Suggestions

Do you often receive a friend suggestion from someone you don’t have any mutual friends with on your Facebook? If this happens, there is a good chance that the person being suggested may have visited your profile page. However, it’s not the same with a friend suggestion who has a mutual friend. If this is the case, the person being suggested may or may not have visited your Facebook.

Typing Letters at the Search Bar

Try typing one letter at the search bar of your Facebook page. If you type a letter and some names appear, the first person on the list might be someone you frequently visit on Facebook. Now if you type a letter and a person you rarely view comes out on top of the list, it may suggest that this person has visited your Facebook page or he or she may be your most recent Facebook page viewer.

Changing Your Facebook Privacy Settings

If you don’t want other people viewing your profile page, you can always go to your privacy settings to make your Facebook more secure. You can also view how your profile page looks like when viewed by people who are not on your friends list.
